Sauye-sauye da Cututtukan Gado

Sauye-sauye canje-canje ne na dindindin a cikin jerin DNA wanda ya samar da kwayoyin halittarmu. Kwayoyin halitta sune ginshiƙan gado waɗanda ke tantance halaye na zahiri da na jiki na halittu da yawa. Sauye-sauye na iya faruwa kwatsam yayin kwafi na DNA ko kuma abubuwan muhalli kamar radiation da sinadarai na iya haifar da su. Menene Sauyin Halitta?

Sauye-sauyen kwayoyin halitta canje-canje ne a cikin jerin nucleotides waɗanda ke samar da kwayar halitta ko rukuni na kwayoyin halitta. Sauye-sauye na iya faruwa ta hanyoyi daban-daban, gami da:

1. Sauyin maki: Wannan canji ne a cikin nau'in tushe guda ɗaya a cikin DNA. Misali, canji daga adenine (A) zuwa guanine (G).

2. Sauye-sauyen sakawa da gogewa: Sakawa yana nufin ƙara nau'ikan tushe ɗaya ko fiye cikin DNA, yayin da sharewa shine cire nau'ikan tushe ɗaya ko fiye.

Cututtukan gado da sauye-sauye ke haifarwa

Cututtukan gado galibi suna faruwa ne ta hanyar maye gurbi a cikin kwayar halitta guda ɗaya (cututtukan monogenic) ko kuma ta hanyar maye gurbi a cikin kwayoyin halitta da yawa (cututtukan polygenic). Ga wasu misalan cututtukan gado waɗanda galibi ke da alaƙa da maye gurbi a cikin kwayoyin halitta:

1. Ciwon Fibrosis

Ciwon cystic fibrosis yana ɗaya daga cikin cututtukan kwayoyin halitta da suka fi yawa kuma masu tsanani, musamman a tsakanin mutanen da suka fito daga ƙasashen Turai. Yana faruwa ne sakamakon maye gurbi a cikin kwayar halittar CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator), wanda ke kawo cikas ga aikin yau da kullun na tashoshin chloride a cikin ƙwayoyin halitta. Ciwon Down misali ne na wata cuta da ke faruwa sakamakon maye gurbi na chromosome, kasancewar ƙarin kwafin chromosome 21 (trisomy 21). Wannan yanayin yana haifar da jinkiri daban-daban na ci gaba da matsalolin lafiya kamar nakasar zuciya da aka haifa da kuma matsalolin tsarin narkewar abinci.
