መፍትሔው

m1 v1 + ሜ2 v2 = ሜ1 v1'+ ሜ2 v2'

(0.5)(-10) + (0.2)(12) = (0.5)(6) + (0.2)(v2')

-5 + 2.4 = 3 + 0.2 v2'

-2.6 = 3 + 0.2 v2'

-2.6 – 3 = 0.2 v2'

-5.6 = 0.2 v2'

v2’ = -5.6 / 0.2

v2' = -28 ሜ/ሰ

The speed of object 2 after collision is 28 m/s.

v1 + ቁ2 = v1'+ v2'

The plus sign of the velocity indicates that the balls have the same direction.
